Conceived in 2002 as the little brother of the great Petrucci and made from grapes coming from the winery’s younger vines, Petruccino is known for its beautiful fruit but also for its surprising structure and pleasurable drinking just two years from the vintage. As the vines have aged and our work on the soils has enriched the terrain, Petruccino has become a true premier cru, an alternative expression of Sangiovese from the excellent terroirs of Podere Forte.
